Where do you find free Web Dev tutorials?
I started researching potential sites with a basic Google search, which will offer a lot of results. The tricky part, is finding a reputable site that has correct and up to date lessons.
A good friend recommended that I start my training with w3schools. They have a lot of interactive lessons and examples and w3schools also offers certification of your skills.
If I at any stage found the current tutorial lacking in extra information, I would simply use a search engine for the particular function and visited other sites for a different point of view or explanation. You will be required to do a lot of reading in order to acquire a sound understanding of each topic from varied sources.
I am compiling a list of the sites that I have used to obtain my Free education on Web Development. My advice is, start from the beginning, learning HTML. Once you have a firm grasp of that, move onto CSS and then go back and do it all over again to reaffirm what you have learned.
